The Venue
Eight thousand square feet of restored Williamsburg industrial space under 28-foot ceilings — Moorish tile, hanging greenery, candlelight and an open kitchen. It is one of the most photographed rooms in Brooklyn, and on October 1 it is ours for the evening.
Artisanal, Mediterranean-inspired cooking under executive chef Chris Cortez — wood-fired flatbreads, mezze and hot plates from the open kitchen, served across the whole program rather than squeezed into a cocktail hour.
A full craft cocktail program running the length of the room, open from the reception through the final set. Wine, beer and zero-proof options alongside.
Fandi Mata's artisanal mezcaleria, a floor above the main room on the mezzanine — an agave bar for the part of the night that happens after the program.
