We’re excited to announce that Josh Johnson of The Daily Show and Brooklyn comedian Simeon Goodson have joined the entertainment lineup for the 2026 Legacy Benefit Reception on Thursday, October 1 at Fandi Mata in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
Josh Johnson will deliver a featured comedy performance while Simeon Goodson, with deep roots in Clinton Hill and Fort Greene, will serve as our host and comedian for the evening.
Their addition brings even more energy to a night dedicated to honoring community leadership and investing in the next generation. Proceeds from the Benefit Reception will help the Val A. Henry Legacy Scholarship Fund expand access to STEM education, robotics, technology resources and educational opportunities for under-resourced students and schools.
Guests can look forward to an evening of comedy, live entertainment, community, networking and purpose while celebrating five distinguished honorees whose leadership and service continue to make an impact.
