On Thursday, October 1, 2026, the Val A. Henry Legacy Scholarship Fund, Inc. invites you to join us for our 2026 Legacy Benefit Reception – “Stay Focused,” an evening dedicated to honoring legacy, celebrating community leadership, and investing in the future of STEM education.
Hosted at Fandi Mata in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, this special evening will bring together community leaders, educators, alumni, business partners, supporters, and friends who share a common belief: every student deserves access to the resources and opportunities that help them reach their full potential.
While we gather to celebrate the enduring legacy of Val A. Henry, we will also celebrate something even greater—the collective impact that is possible when a community comes together with purpose.
Over the past year, we have taken meaningful steps toward fulfilling our mission, including expanding STEM learning opportunities through our partnership with P.S. 375 Jackie Robinson School. The Benefit Reception represents another important milestone in that journey, allowing us to continue investing in educational resources, STEM initiatives, and partnerships that create lasting opportunities for students.
Throughout the evening, guests will enjoy an elegant reception, networking opportunities, inspiring stories of community impact, and the presentation of our Community Leadership Awards, recognizing individuals and organizations whose service has strengthened our communities and inspired others.
