Every meaningful journey begins with a purpose.
For our family, that purpose became clear following the passing of our father, Val A. Henry. While we mourned his loss, we also reflected on the values that defined his life—service to others, perseverance, integrity, generosity, and an unwavering belief that education creates opportunity.
We knew his legacy deserved to live on in a way that would continue making a difference for generations to come.
With that vision, the Val A. Henry Legacy Scholarship Fund, Inc. was established.
Although our name includes the word “Scholarship,” our mission extends far beyond traditional scholarships. We are committed to expanding access to STEM education by providing students and schools with the tools, technology, and resources that inspire curiosity, creativity, and lifelong learning. Whether it’s donating STEM kits to classrooms, supporting educational initiatives, or partnering with schools and community organizations, our goal is to remove barriers to opportunity and empower young minds to dream bigger.
Our journey is just beginning, but our commitment is unwavering.
As we grow, we hope to build lasting partnerships with educators, community leaders, businesses, and supporters who share our belief that every child deserves the opportunity to explore, discover, and succeed.
