Duwayno Robertson

Duwayno Robertson is a Battery Systems Specialist at Akaysha Energy with over 20 years of experience in renewable energy, transportation, and energy storage. He began his career developing the automotive industry’s first xEV systems and has since worked with technologies including lead-acid, ultra-capacitors, nickel-metal hydride, and lithium-ion. A Fellow of Engineers Australia and chairperson of Standards Australia’s EL-005 Secondary Batteries Committee, Duwayno has advanced multiple programs from R&D to full-scale production worldwide. A longtime friend of Kai Henry, he is honored to serve on the Val A. Henry Legacy Scholarship Fund Board to help continue Val’s legacy of excellence and inspiration.
